CURRICULUM VITAE

Ratna holds her Bachelor’s, Pharmacist’s, and Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FA UGM), Indonesia. She was formerly an analytical development scientist in the R&D Department of Dexa Medica, a pharmaceutical company in Indonesia (2008-2013). She is a junior staff in the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry and the Laboratory of Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences, FA UGM, and awarded a scholarship from the Indonesian government to pursue her PhD in the Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics, Leiden University Medical Center (CPM, LUMC) (2021-2025). She is working under the supervision of Dr. Martin Giera to develop non-invasive biomarkers for the early detection of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis by employing metabolomics-based strategies.
