Wenli Ye obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Drug Synthesis and Design at the Tianjin University of Science & Technology (TUST). After graduation, she served as a laboratory R&D engineer responsible for offering solutions for measuring the expression of targeted metabolites in her internship at the Department of Proteomics, Beijing Genomics Institution(BGI) in Shenzhen. She obtained her master's degree in Biology & Medicine majoring in proteomics at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2023. In the same year, Wenli moved to the Netherlands and started to work as a Ph.D. candidate at Leiden University Medical Center in the Department of Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manfred Wuhrer and Dr. Noortje de Haan. Her project focused on the glycoproteomic to investigate the cancer cell surface glycome, mainly major in the O-glycopeptides field.
