RESEARCH

Glycans play essential roles in cellular processes including adhesion, proliferation, differentiation and recognition. Abnormal glycan expression is associated with the development of many types of cancers. Our projects mainly focus on the expression and regulation of glycans on protein and glycosphingolipids in cancers as well as their role in the development of cancers, such as acute myeloid leukemia and colorectal cancer.

  • Glycosphingolipid-glycan signatures of acute myeloid leukemia cell lines reflect hematopoietic differentiation
  • High diversity of glycosphingolipids glycans of colorectal cancer cell lines reflects the cellular differentiation phenotype
  • Exploration of expression of N-glycan in colorectal cancer
